A professional development roadmap — in progress and building toward full accreditation.
Certifications are how we demonstrate that our skills meet recognised industry standards — not just claimed experience, but verified competence. The certifications below represent our current pursuit and planned accreditation path across cybersecurity, cloud, and Oracle platforms.
Offensive Security Certified Professional — In Progress
The OSCP is one of the most respected hands-on offensive security certifications in the industry — requiring candidates to compromise real machines in a controlled lab environment. Demonstrates practical penetration testing ability, not just theoretical knowledge.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional — Planned
CISSP is the globally recognised standard for senior information security professionals — covering security and risk management, asset security, architecture, communications, and software development security across eight domains.
UK Government Scheme — Studied & Applied
Cyber Essentials is the UK Government's baseline cybersecurity certification — covering the five core technical controls. Applied throughout academic work and practical security projects as a foundational framework.
Planned
A foundational vendor-neutral security certification covering threats, attacks, vulnerabilities, identity management, cryptography, and risk management — widely recognised as an entry-level industry standard.
Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence — Practical Experience
Hands-on experience building and delivering reports in Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence within Fusion Cloud environments. Applied in active training content production for Oracle HCM and Fusion reporting modules.
Practical Experience — Certification Planned
Practical experience with Oracle Human Capital Management Cloud — currently applied in training video production. Formal Oracle HCM certification is part of the planned accreditation roadmap.
Planned
AWS Cloud Practitioner provides a foundational understanding of AWS Cloud services, architecture, security, and pricing — a stepping stone toward more advanced AWS solutions architect and security specialisations.
Planned
Microsoft's foundational cloud certification covering core Azure services, security, privacy, compliance, and pricing — establishing baseline competency across the Microsoft cloud ecosystem.
Planned
The Cisco CCNA covers network fundamentals, IP connectivity, security fundamentals, and automation — providing vendor-recognised credentials to support the network administration and management work we deliver.
Several certifications listed here are actively in progress or planned as part of a structured professional development roadmap. They are listed transparently — with their current status clearly marked — because they represent the direction and standards we are working toward, not credentials already held. This page will be updated as certifications are achieved.
